The Student Council at St. Finian’s Community College aims to promote the interests of the school and the involvement of students in the affairs of the school in cooperation with the Board of Management, parents and teachers. The council provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate leadership, to develop a sense of responsibility and to enhance student participation in the life and day to day running of the school. The council also assists in school activities including sporting, cultural, extra-curricular events.
It helps organise fund-raising and charitable work. The council also liaises with student councils from other schools.The Council consists of three elected representatives from first to fifth Year.
