Coding

The Afterschool Coding club runs every Thursday at 3.00 in the Computer Room (Room 33). The club is open to all students and generally has a mix of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students.

We have had the opportunity to use Google CS First, Scratch, Microbits, Python and MIT App Inventor on our coding learning journey so far.

This year we are taking part in the national School Digital Champion programme. Students will take part in training and industry site visits with other students from across the country. They will work in small groups to create their own unique digital project which will be of benefit to the wider school community.
