Our girls soccer team proudly represents St Finian's CC in both League and Cup FAI schools' competitions. We have many excellent players playing at a high level with clubs like Home Farm, Malahide United and Bohemians. Our soccer team is also very welcoming and we have many players whose first experience of playing is with the school team. The team has regular training sessions and joining the team is a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends and have fun while participating in sport.
St Finian's Community College is actively developing links with local clubs along with Bohemians to encourage more girls to enjoy football. These links will help girls find pathways into the sport whether they are just starting or looking to progress further.
St. Finian’s C.C. school soccer team have been particularly successful over the years winning the Leinster Schools’ Cup and the Dublin Metropolitan League. This team is trained and managed by Mr Burke, Mr Henderson and Mr Walzer. Throughout the years, students of the college have been selected to play for the Republic of Ireland Soccer Teams at underage level. In addition to these successes other students have acquired soccer scholarships to colleges in Ireland and The United States.
