St. Finian's C.C. Self-Care Corner... for everybody

Hi Friends,

I hope you are safe and healthy during these strange days. Self-care is never more important than during times of struggle so look after yourself regularly..exercise, stay connected, eat well, get enough sleep and do stuff that makes you feel good. Mindfulness meditation practices can also help us manage stress over the next few weeks. Please join us in these simple practices on a regular basis. Each week we will post a link to a website or an app where you can download a guided meditation for free. Here is the first link. www.mindfulness.ie

Thanks to our Guidance counsellor and mindfulness practitioner Ms. Barrett.

Week 1

Hi Everyone,

Research indicates that spending 15 minutes each day reflecting on grateful sentiments has positive effects on mental and physical wellbeing, even improving sleep quality. Journaling helps you improve your mood by allowing you to clarify your thoughts and feelings.
