Friday will be a Day of Memorial at St Finian’s CC to remember our beloved
Caroline Cooney, Deputy Principal, who passed away suddenly during the
summer.
All students, with the exception of First Year students and visiting International
students, will be invited to participate in a Memorial Service at St Cronan’s
Church at 11.30am on Friday. Arrangements have been put in place with the
help of An Garda Síochána to walk students to and from the church safely.
The service will be inclusive of all denominations and none, but will be
Christian in character. All students present on Friday will be accompanied by
their tutor to and from the Memorial Service.
If you do not want your child to attend, alternative arrangements will be made.
Your child’s class tutor must be informed, in writing, of this by Thursday.
