Green Schools
The Green Schools programme coordinated by our students in the Green School's Committee and teachers, Mr Burke and Ms Shanagher, has been running in St. Finian's C.C. for the last three years. We have completed the Neat Streets programme and we have also just applied for our first Green Flag in Litter and Waste.

In addition, our Green Schools committee has eliminated plastic bottles in the school by introducing reusable water bottles resulting in 40,000 fewer plastic bottles going into refill every year as part of our 2020 goals which are geared towards making the school more sustainable as a whole.
Lastly, we have made strong links with Swords Woodland Association and Fingal County Council and made a submission to their Draft Climate Action Plan last year.
